Comity 0.7: The Team Update
Comity 0.7 is built for teams: your agents now share one task list, hand each other work, answer each other's questions and keep working while you're away. Update with comity update, then run comity init in each repo.
New
Autopilot
Step away, and your agent keeps working for your team. With autopilot on, a teammate's work request is accepted without asking you, and your open agent session starts on it: same chat, your normal setup and permissions. While it waits, no model runs. When you're back, it tells you what it did while you were away.
Turn it on with /autopilot in Claude Code or omp, comity autopilot on in a terminal, or Settings → Your agent in the dashboard. You confirm a warning once by typing yes. Press Esc or run comity autopilot off to stop. Everyone in your org can give your agent work by default; comity autopilot people narrows that. Works in Claude Code, Codex and omp. Team plan and up. Ask my agent
When a teammate's agent asks yours a question while yours is busy, a read-only copy of your session answers right away, on your machine, using a cheap model. Your main agent is never paused. Turn it on with comity ask-my-agent on or in Settings → Your agent. Works in Claude Code, Codex and omp. Team plan and up. Docs
Shared tasks
Say "build the next tasks in SPEC.md" and the file's checkboxes (or its sections) become one task list for the whole team. Every agent claims its own task, so no two agents build the same thing, and a task counts as done when it lands on your main branch. Lists can also come from GitHub Issues. The new Shared tasks tab in the dashboard shows who's on what, live. Docs
Work requests. Your agent can ask a teammate to take tasks ("ask Mike to take Search"). Accepted work is queued after the plan they're working on, unless you mark it urgent.
Accept or decline in Claude Code
A teammate's work request now shows up as Comity's own popup in Claude Code, with their message, what they already tried, an optional note, and Accept / Decline. Declining tells them and your agent just keeps working. Other agents ask in their usual approval prompt. Docs
Notion
Connect Notion under Integrations in the dashboard and pick a page or database: its to-dos become a shared task list, and finished tasks get checked off in Notion. Docs
Tried, didn't work
Dead ends travel with the work. Handoffs, released tasks and work requests carry what was already tried and didn't work, so the next agent skips it instead of repeating it. The dashboard's task drawer shows them under Already tried. Docs
