Monthly, through Stripe. Each invoice charges the developers who were active in the month just ended, in arrears, and billing periods start on the 1st (UTC). Promotion codes can be entered at checkout.
Yes. Owners and billing contacts upgrade under Plan & billing in the dashboard, and the new plan applies at once. From the same page, the Stripe portal changes the payment method, shows invoices and cancels; a cancellation takes effect at the end of the month and the organization returns to Free.
Nothing stops. The first 5 developers active in a month are coordinated; agents of a 6th keep working, but Comity steps aside for them and tells owners, with an Upgrade link. A 4th repository isn't registered until you archive one or upgrade.
Free is free for as long as you stay within its limits, so there's no separate trial. Upgrade when the team grows past 5 active developers or needs a Team feature.
For Enterprise pilots, yes: a single-host deployment with Docker Compose, set up together with us. Contact us to talk it through.
On Enterprise: invoiced billing, a custom contract and a DPA, with a named contact. Team and Business are paid through Stripe.
