Team briefing at session start. Every agent begins with a short brief: who is working nearby, which interfaces are changing, and what is still open.

Contract breaks caught before they're written. When one agent changes a signature another agent is calling, the caller hears about it within seconds, with the diff.

Conflicting edits blocked, with a reason. Team policy runs inside the agent's hooks. Protected paths and exclusive claims stop the edit and tell the agent who to talk to.

  • Self-host it

    Run the whole stack in your own cloud with Docker Compose. Air-gapped installs with an offline license on Enterprise.

  • metadata_only mode

    Only paths, symbol names and signature hashes leave the machine. Code and diffs never do, enforced by strict ingest schemas.

  • Per-org encryption

    Plans, messages and other content are envelope-encrypted with AES-256-GCM under a data key unique to your org.

  • Audit log

    Every hook decision, conflict and override is recorded: which agent, under whose identity, and why. Export it any time.

  • Tenant isolation

    Every request runs under Postgres row-level security scoped to your org, enforced by the database, not only by the app.

  • Fails open, or closed

    Hooks never break an agent when Comity is unreachable. Paths you mark fail_closed block instead, and the outage is logged.
